Job Description
Job Title: Police Cadet
Company: City of Auburn Hills
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay: $17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $17 for a Police Cadet in Auburn Hills, MI, is generally considered low when compared to industry standards. According to data from various law enforcement job boards and salary surveys, Police Cadet positions typically offer hourly rates ranging between $20 to $25, depending on factors such as experience, location, and department size. Given the cost of living in the area and the expectations for public safety roles, $17 may not attract a competitive applicant pool, potentially impacting the quality and effectiveness of the program. Therefore, it would be advisable for the hiring department to consider adjusting the pay to remain competitive within the local job market.
