Job description:

We are seeking to fill a full-time Prep Cook position immediately. This role is based at Reynolds & Reynolds, located at 2405 County Line Road, Beavercreek, OH 45430. Please note that only online applications will be accepted.

Summary: The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing and serving food in compliance with relevant federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain the daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
  • Prepare items according to production sheets, following established quantities and recipes.
  • Complete daily production worksheets and waste logs, and taste finished meals to ensure quality.
  • Operate and clean equipment according to departmental procedures after each use.
  • Properly store, label, and date all food items in accordance with policy and adhere to HACCP guidelines.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, reports, and logs as required.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations, along with departmental sanitation procedures.
  • Take customer orders and prepare items that require short preparation times.
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  • Complete orders from steam tables and the grill, serving customers at various stations.
  • Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to maintain proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
