Job description:

We are currently seeking to fill a full-time Prep Cook position. This role is located at Reynolds & Reynolds, situated at 2405 County Line Road, Beavercreek, OH 45430. Please note that we are only accepting online applications.

Schedule: This is a full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Previous experience in food preparation and cooking is preferred, although we are willing to provide training for qualified candidates.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is between $17.50 and $18.50 per hour.

Job Summary: The prep cook is responsible for preparing food and serving customers in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain daily production schedules and preparation requirements from the Chef.
  • Prepare items on production sheets according to established quantities and recipes.
  • Complete and adhere to daily production worksheets and waste log sheets, sampling prepared meals to ensure quality.
  • Operate and clean kitchen equipment following department procedures after each use.
  • Properly store, label, and date all food items according to policy and adhere to HACCP guidelines.
  • Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs as necessary.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local health regulations and sanitation procedures.
  • Take customer orders and prepare items with short preparation times efficiently.
  • Serve customers in a friendly and prompt manner.
  • Complete orders using steam tables and grills, serving customers across multiple stations.
  • Utilize approved recipes and production standards to maintain proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
  • Address customer concerns promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
