Key responsibilities include:
– Accurately following recipes and exercising portion control while preparing, garnishing, and presenting dishes.
– Ensuring daily kitchen setups are properly maintained and well-stocked with necessary food items, paper products, and condiments.
– Properly handling, storing, and rotating all products to maintain freshness.
– Overseeing the setup, maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of kitchen machinery and equipment.
– Managing the stock, cutting, and storage of perishables daily to guarantee product quality.
– Completing opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
– Upholding the quality of all products served.
– Performing general and specific cleaning tasks in accordance with health standards as directed by your supervisor.
– Undertaking additional duties as assigned.
