We are seeking skilled furniture assemblers to construct products in customers’ homes as well as service the stores of this reputable chain every three weeks. Your exceptional showroom experience will foster increased assembly orders, and building a strong partnership with the store manager is essential for expanding your hours in the market. Proficient cross-selling abilities will be critical to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Execute in-home assembly assignments.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting of completed work.
• Perform furniture repairs.
• Assemble ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture.
• Undertake grill assembly.
• Assemble exercise equipment and more.
• Conduct inventory assessments and identify missing items from the sales floor.
• Secure displays to ensure customer safety.
• Execute minor assembly repairs on furniture.
• Clean and vacuum furniture pads.
• Assemble RTA furniture for display areas.
• Report work completed via phone, tablet, or computer.
• Build and maintain relationships with store managers.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to travel 30-60 miles across multiple locations daily, depending on market demands.
• Basic toolset may be required in certain markets.
• Effective communication skills to engage with customers, team members, and management (enhanced communication leads to more shifts).
• Capability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day.
• Flexible availability, including hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, with occasional weekends and evenings as needed.
• Proficiency in reading and following diagrams or instructions, and using hand and power tools effectively.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
