Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Manufacturing and Production Teams play a vital role in converting raw materials into finished products while ensuring efficient component flow. Team members conduct changeovers and setups according to the production schedule, perform quality checks in line with established processes, and document results in accordance with our quality procedures. Each member is also accountable for maintaining a clean and organized work area and adhering to TE Connectivity’s Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
The following duties represent the core responsibilities of this position, though it may include other related tasks as deemed necessary:

  • Execute diversified soldering operations, including but not limited to torch and iron soldering.
  • Assemble a variety of products, managing numerous components with close tolerances and interrelated factors, utilizing both hand and power tools.
  • Conduct potting and encapsulation operations.
  • Read blueprints and operate a range of measurement instruments to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Interpret schematics effectively.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment, fostering work sharing, collective problem solving, and shared responsibility. Provide training to other employees as necessary.
  • Operate all equipment required for the assembly of various products.
  • Complete the finishing stages of relays, including the application of nameplates, decals, hardware, stamps, and touch-up paint, as well as undertake packing and shipping duties.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completed ESD training per OP 1707 and solder certification per OP 1701.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related manufacturing soldering experience.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and wire schematics.
  • Experience utilizing measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $40,248 to $42,057 (subject to change based on physical location).
  • Salary ranges are provided in good faith, and TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust them based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate, as well as internal and external equity considerations.
  • Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
