Sunstates Security is currently seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) in the Macedonia, OH area. This position offers a competitive starting pay rate of $18.25 per hour, with weekly pay.

Benefits: All qualifying candidates are eligible for a 401(k) plan with employer match (up to 8%) after working a minimum of 20 hours per week (at least 500 hours per year) and completing six months of service with Sunstates Security.

Requirements:

• Prior security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is advantageous.
• Ability to analyze situations, solve problems, and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in reading and comprehending written instructions, as well as communicating clearly and concisely in written form.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and in various weather conditions.
• Experience working with truck gates is a plus.
• Comfortable standing and/or walking for extended periods.

The Security Officer will perform a variety of duties as outlined in the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This role requires a thorough understanding of the Post Orders and SOP to act promptly and effectively in accordance with directives.

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
