Job description:

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking seasonal Cleaners to join our team at The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. As a vital member of the housekeeping team, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring the property remains clean and sanitized.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas, rooms, and restrooms, adhering to departmental procedures and sanitation guidelines.
  • Conduct walkthroughs of assigned areas to ensure compliance with housekeeping standards.
  • Engage with guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms, assisting them as needed.
  • Report maintenance and repair issues to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure lost and found items are appropriately logged and turned in daily.
  • Deliver requested amenities, including small microwaves and handicap bathroom accessories, and set up rollaway beds.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • No prior experience required; previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Basic arithmetic skills for simple calculations.
  • No high school diploma or GED required.
  • Willingness to work outdoors.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.
  • Ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and carry items as needed.
