As a Line Cook, you can expect to:
– Follow recipes meticulously and practice portion control while preparing, garnishing, and presenting items
– Maintain consistent and adequate kitchen/station setup on a daily basis
– Requisition and stock necessary food, paper products, and condiments
– Properly handle, store, and rotate all products
– Manage the setup, regular maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of kitchen equipment
– Oversee the stock, cutting, and storage of perishables to ensure top-notch quality
– Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
– Take responsibility for the quality of all products served
– Perform general and specific cleaning tasks as assigned to meet health standards
– Undertake additional responsibilities as needed
