Job description:

Join our dynamic overnight reset and remodel team at SPAR, a leader in retail construction! We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Lead to oversee a dedicated team of 3-10 personnel, ensuring that quality and safety standards are consistently met. This position involves working overnight shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 8 PM to 6 AM. As the onsite Senior Lead, you will travel to various home improvement retail chains, managing tasks ranging from small merchandising projects to the installation of shelving, fixtures, and extensive remodels. Ideal candidates are self-motivated individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and maintain high standards of workmanship, guaranteeing that each remodel exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead an onsite team of 3–10 members
  • Execute overnight remodels of large retail stores
  • Conduct merchandising resets
  • Remove and replace damaged steel racking
  • Relocate products to new pallet racking
  • Assemble retail shelving fixtures
  • Update signage, shelf conditions, and schematics
  • Engage in significant physical activity, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight hours (8 PM – 6 AM)
  • Proficiency in reading and following blueprints
  • Experience in retail operations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of big box home improvement reporting systems
  • Experience operating equipment such as scissor lifts, order pickers, and reach trucks
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Comfort working at heights (up to 20 feet) and climbing ladders
  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience using basic hand and power tools (personal hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools required)
  • Background in construction
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred
