Your responsibilities will include:
– Providing compassionate companionship to residents and assisting them with daily activities, including transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
– Administering medications and injections per physicians’ orders documented in medical records.
– Maintaining a clean environment, which may involve light housekeeping tasks.
– Ensuring strict compliance with safety and health standards, including precise infection control protocols.
– Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating any updates to your supervisor.
– Following schedules to assist residents with repositioning.
– Accurately documenting medication administration in accordance with established procedures.
– Utilizing sound judgment to provide safe and effective client care.
– Supporting fellow team members in their responsibilities as needed.
– Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs in a timely manner.
– Obtaining meal trays and assisting residents with eating.
– Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
