Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer compassionate companionship to residents and assist them with daily activities, including transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Administer medications and injections according to physicians’ orders documented in medical charts.
  • Maintain cleanliness within the environment, which may include light housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Strictly adhere to safety and health standards, including meticulous infection control procedures.
  • Monitor changes in residents’ conditions and effectively communicate any concerns to the supervisor.
  • Follow established schedules while assisting residents with repositioning.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of medications administered.
  • Exercise sound judgment in providing client care and ensuring safety.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with their duties as necessary.
  • Respond promptly to call lights and assess residents’ needs.
  • Obtain meal trays and assist residents during mealtime.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend is required.
