Job description:
1st Shift: 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM – No Availability
2nd Shift: 1:45 PM – 10:15 PM – Full and Part-Time Availability
3rd Shift: 9:45 PM – 6:15 AM – Full and Part-Time Availability
Hourly Range: $15.50 – $18.25
We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, a friendly disposition, and the ability to provide various levels of support to our clients.

Responsibilities
- Ensure residents’ daily care and service needs are met, including activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, toilet assistance, dressing, eating, socializing, and participating in activities.
- Assist residents in engaging with Life Enrichment Events, which may involve leading activities, supporting the Life Enrichment Coordinator, or aiding residents in attendance.
- Adhere to residents’ service plans to provide the necessary level of assistance and support.
- Report any changes in residents’ conditions and needs promptly.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including bed making, linen changes, straightening and dusting, trash removal, and laundry.
- Utilize safe and appropriate techniques for handling cleaning chemicals and ensure proper storage of all products and equipment.
Additionally, act quickly and responsibly in case of emergencies and follow rigorous hygiene practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the goals and objectives of our living center are met.

Qualifications
- Experience and enjoyment in a one-on-one caregiving setting, with a desire to continuously learn and improve skills.
- Capacity to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
- Demonstrable ability to act compassionately and supportively.
- Availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or an in-home care environment.
- Commitment to enforcing health and safety standards.
- Supportive and compassionate demeanor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience as a caregiver.
- Pride in delivering high-quality care.
- Familiarity with Hoyer lift operations, specific to client needs.
