How You Will Make an Impact:
As a Resident Assistant (RA), you will deliver personal care and health-related services that enhance the physical and emotional well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living tasks such as dressing, grooming, housekeeping, and laundry, all while fostering independence and ensuring a clean, safe environment. You will document care, report any changes in resident conditions, and complete necessary paperwork using the Point of Care system. Collaboration with team members, adherence to state regulations, participation in activities, and support during emergencies are also essential. Flexibility, compassion, and effective communication skills are crucial, along with assisting in meal service, training new staff, and fulfilling other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
This is a PRN position, offering flexible scheduling across all shifts with occasional weekend and holiday rotations.
What You Will Need:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma (preferred).
- CNA or STNA certification (preferred).
- At least one year of experience in assisted living or healthcare (preferred).
- Ability to follow written instructions and comprehend basic medical terminology in English.
