Your Role at Raising Cane’s:

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for assisting the Restaurant Leader in the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to Raising Cane’s standards and culture during shift management.

This role entails a fast-paced kitchen environment that demands extended periods of physical exertion, including walking, standing, lifting, and bending, as well as interaction with customers. The position involves both indoor and outdoor work in varying temperatures and requires working with food products, common allergens, industrial equipment, and commercial cleaning products—which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

  • Purpose of the Position:

    • Ensure operational excellence in all restaurant zones during assigned shifts.
    • Act as the manager on duty, overseeing the opening and closing of the restaurant.
    • Manage cash handling processes while ensuring accountability.
  • Core Responsibilities:
    • Enforce company policies and standards.
    • Execute shift management in compliance with operational and safety standards.
    • Utilize required tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution, documenting results and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Direct and guide crewmembers throughout the shift.
    • Provide exemplary customer service.
    • Implement the reward and recognition program for restaurant staff.
    • Authorize employee functions requiring managerial approval, such as discounts and timeclock overrides.
    • Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and ensure the facility is in optimal working condition.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
