Job Title: Runaway Homeless Youth Residential Specialist

Company: Lighthouse

Location: Pontiac, MI

Pay: $17.98 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17.98 for a “Runaway Homeless Youth Residential Specialist” in Pontiac, MI is generally considered below the national average for similar positions in social services. Typically, salaries for this role can range from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, certifications, and local cost of living. While it’s important to consider the budget constraints of non-profit organizations, offering a rate on the lower end may hinder the attraction and retention of qualified staff, particularly in a role that requires significant emotional labor and specialized skills to support vulnerable youth. Overall, the rate appears not to be competitive within industry standards for the position and location.
