Job description:
The Sales Analyst is responsible for interpreting various data points to facilitate the identification of profitable business solutions. Additionally, this role supports the Chain Sales Director with high-level administrative tasks.
– Monitor and analyze competitive activities, customer behavior, and market trends, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
– Assist the sales team by delivering timely reports and applying critical thinking to enhance performance.
– Develop planograms and strategically organize products in alignment with established sales strategies.
– Conduct site visits to assess store sets and identify opportunities for improvement in category management.
– Identify potential areas for process enhancement and standardization within sales operations.
– Provide administrative support to the Chain Sales Director.
– Lead the planning and execution of projects assigned to the department.
– Review sales activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
– Collaborate with other functional areas such as IT, Portfolio, and Marketing to advance the organization’s strategic vision through chain sales initiatives.
– Prepare selling materials for MBO and NPI in advance to promote effective selling.
– Serve as the primary contact for data consultants, keeping sales staff informed about data trends and opportunities.
– Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent education and experience) in Business Administration or a related field.
– Must be at least 18 years of age.
– A minimum of three years of analytical experience is preferred.
– At least two years of beverage sales experience is preferred.
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
– Familiarity with maintaining ERP systems and software databases.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize, set goals, and fulfill responsibilities with minimal supervision.
– Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
– Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred.
– Strong communication and customer service skills, demonstrating confidentiality and professionalism.
– Experience in developing and managing projects.
– Ability to problem-solve and make decisions efficiently while maintaining composure and professionalism.
– Self-motivated with a high level of productivity.
