Job description:

This position is part of the Martech & Marketing Data (MMD) team and assumes product ownership of the SalesForce Marketing Cloud platform. The MMD team operates within the Marketing Analytics organization, dedicated to providing the Marketing Analytics, Marketing Activation, and Analytics & Customer Experience teams with the data and tools essential for their success.

As the product owner, you will be responsible for managing a comprehensive product vision and roadmap, understanding user personas, and addressing stakeholder needs and satisfaction. You will oversee the roadmap through Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) aligned with product-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role entails maintaining opportunity and issue logs, vendor management, market analysis of competitors and new entrants, as well as managing related Requests for Proposals (RFPs). You will foster strong stakeholder partnerships through organized and ongoing idea generation and collaborative problem-solving, with a focus on product innovation, particularly in artificial intelligence and generative AI.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in marketing and marketing strategy, with a proven track record of delivering results.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Over five years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge of all Salesforce Marketing Cloud builders, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Push, Automation Studio, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud APIs.
  • Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Server-Side JavaScript.
  • General networking knowledge, including DNS and SSL.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate new concepts and technologies and effectively communicate them to both business and IT stakeholders.
  • Strong product management skills, demonstrated through a successful track record.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, with a capability to manage and prioritize various responsibilities while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to unexpected assignments and shifts in workload based on management priorities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enhance segmentation strategies for marketers in achieving KPIs.

  • Solid understanding of solution design and architecture, including relational database concepts with exposure to SQL, data management and segmentation, as well as scripting and query development.
  • Proven experience in designing and building solutions that integrate with external platforms.
  • Marketing Cloud certification is desirable.
  • Strong relationship management, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience guiding discussions with customer-facing stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desired experience with the Adobe AEP platform.

Location:
This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, requiring in-office attendance of three or more days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.
