As a Security Officer – Access Control – Overnight Shift in Detroit, MI, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients across various sectors. Stationed at the main entrance as a Front Desk Security Officer, your primary responsibilities will encompass monitoring access and assisting visitors, thereby contributing to a welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities include managing badge access, observing and reporting on activity within the premises, and responding promptly to any security incidents. Pay Rate: $17.65 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Monday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Saturday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Sunday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- Deliver superior customer service to clients and visitors by executing security procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities at the front desk as necessary.
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and critical situations.
- Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and credentials as needed.
- Assist with visitor management tasks, including logging guests and issuing visitor badges.
- Communicate promptly with staff and management regarding any security-related incidents or concerns noted at the front desk area.
Minimum Requirements:
- Familiarity with computers or tablets is preferred.
- Prior customer service experience is advantageous.
- Experience in access control or badge management is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and 21 years old for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- Candidates will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws as a condition of employment.

- A drug screening will be conducted as permitted by law.
