Job Description:

  • Allied Universal is currently seeking applicants for the position of Part-Time Security Officer.
  • Starting compensation is $17.90 per hour, increasing to $18.99 after 90 days of employment.
  • The position is located at a major automaker facility in Sterling Heights, MI.
  • A valid driver’s license, held for a minimum of one year, is required.

As a Professional Security Officer, you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by implementing safety and security procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and executing emergency response actions when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and solution-focused approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and its surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions per client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and 21 or older for armed positions.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, or alternatively, five years of verifiable experience.
  • Applicants will undergo a background investigation in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will evaluate convictions in a manner consistent with applicable regulations.
  • A drug screening will be conducted to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements may apply in accordance with state and local laws and must be obtained before employment.
