As a Security Professional – Lobby Monitor in Detroit, MI, you will play a vital role in safeguarding clients across various industries. Stationed at the main entrance, you will greet visitors and manage access control, deterring security incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying identification, and utilizing computer or tablet systems as necessary. Pay Rate: $17.65 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time

  • Saturday: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
  • Sunday: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by executing security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as required at the front desk.
  • Address incidents and critical situations in a composed, solution-focused manner.
  • Monitor premises access, validate identification, and assist with visitor management.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related incidents and daily activities.
  • Communicate effectively with management and emergency personnel during incidents or unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Preferred experience in customer service.
  • Familiarity with access control or badge systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Applicants will undergo a background investigation in compliance with federal, state, and local laws as a condition of employment.
