Job description:
Kforce is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Southfield, MI.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with management and stakeholders to identify, create, and monitor various reports and key business metrics.
– Design, document, develop, test, and deploy business intelligence and planning applications, dashboards, and reports to support organizational objectives.
– Provide support, troubleshoot, and maintain existing financial and operational business analytics.
– Ensure all data analytics produced for both internal and external stakeholders meet the highest standards of quality and timeliness.
– Conduct ad-hoc projects, research, and analyses to support key stakeholders.
– Develop or assist in the creation of requirements, identify predictive and analytical models, and leverage outcomes to deliver strategic value to the organization.
– Review and implement technical processes necessary to achieve predictive and analytical modeling.
– Regularly communicate progress and challenges to management.
– Create comprehensive documentation that elucidates the data analysis process for stakeholders.
– Uphold ongoing implementation and monitoring of corporate data risk and compliance procedures.
– Act as a subject matter expert in Business Intelligence, supporting all relevant business applications.
– Maintain confidentiality of processed information as appropriate.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
– 8 to 10 years of experience in data analysis.
– Advanced knowledge of report writing tools, including Microsoft SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Data Warehousing, and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) Business Intelligence technologies.
– Proficiency in SQL with experience in relational databases and data warehouses.
– Expertise in Power BI or Tableau, including the ability to write DAX measures.
– Solid experience in writing MDX queries and customizing Cubes using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
– Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess, recommend, and implement improvements to processes or procedures.
– Strong time management skills, capable of handling deadlines and shifting priorities.
– Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong interpersonal abilities.

Compensation for this role is based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs. The stated pay range represents our reasonable expectation at the time of posting. This range may be subject to future modification.
