Qualifications:

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry or outside sales is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with the cable, telecommunications, and data sectors.
  • Understanding of financial metrics such as IRR, NPV, Fixed Cost, and Variable Cost.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 40-60% of the work week.
  • Proficiency with standard telecommunications products.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Office Suite, and Salesforce.com.
  • A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, develop, negotiate, and secure new accounts within a defined territory and targeted customer base.
  • Focus on selling fiber and coaxial services to small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) and enterprise customers.
  • Coordinate WOW! resources and personnel to enhance customer relationships.
  • Deliver impactful presentations to relevant decision-makers.
  • Manage a sales portfolio of at least 400 customers while maintaining a sales funnel in alignment with company expectations.
  • Achieve monthly quotas established by the department manager.
  • Accurately document all customer orders and requests.
  • Provide precise weekly 30/60/90/120-day sales forecasts.
  • Utilize Salesforce to optimize sales efficiency and provide transparency to senior management.
  • Identify and penetrate a defined base of accounts proactively.
  • Exhibit exceptional time management, interpersonal skills, and advanced problem-solving abilities.
