We seek a passionate leader and analyst with a problem-solving mindset ready to innovate within the marketing industry. Our Analytics Team, central to the agency’s operations, drives all facets of strategy, messaging, content creation, and media activation, aligning closely with our clients’ business objectives throughout the convergence planning process.

The Analytics Team is a collaborative and dynamic group responsible for data collection, reporting, and analysis aimed at optimizing media and integrating technology to drive business results. This includes the development and management of methodologies for tracking, identifying, and resolving issues, as well as interpreting and presenting program results and insights grounded in data-driven analysis for our clients.

As a pivotal team member, you will provide leadership, project management, timely reporting, insights, and optimization solutions. Your active participation in the business will be essential, contributing ideas and insights that align with clients’ goals. The role requires an individual skilled at managing multiple projects, tasks, and teams concurrently. Additionally, you will mentor and develop your team, enhancing their productivity and effectiveness within the analytics ecosystem. The ideal candidate will display intellectual curiosity, adeptly mining data to answer complex questions, and will possess strong communication skills for conveying findings clearly. Attention to detail and process is paramount.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Lead meetings with product owners and stakeholders to present media performance results, develop measurement plans, KPIs, and optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to address audience analytics and research needs, activating them within our reporting/insights ecosystem to deliver actionable insights to clients.
  • Analyze and report on digital media campaigns, providing strategic recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate in the creation of tools and techniques that enhance media performance, driving brand consideration and key marketing activities.
  • Lead and facilitate the development and implementation of reporting dashboards.
  • Establish appropriate testing scenarios to derive key insights and address critical business questions.
  • Regularly prepare and present detailed media performance results to internal stakeholders and clients, providing defense for findings.
  • Develop presentations and tactical points of view that meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Assist in new business pitches through data analysis, consumer insights, survey development, and participation in focus groups.
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies to integrate them into the existing analytics framework.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends in media, research, consumer insights, communications, and technology.
  • Proactively address issues, knowing when to escalate them appropriately.
  • Manage multiple deliverables effectively, transitioning seamlessly between them.
  • Mentor and cultivate all team members to ensure their contributions are integral to the organization.
  • Actively promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the company and with clients.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising/marketing, business, engineering, statistics, or mathematics preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience as a digital media analyst or specialist in media planning, consumer research, account planning, marketing, or media research.
  • Proven experience leading technical projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SQL Server and/or Tableau is preferred.
  • Familiarity with survey development, digital campaign analysis (display, mobile, social media, search, and/or email).
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools or digital creative optimization is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Prior knowledge of DFA/DCM, DS3, Prisma, media tagging, SQL queries, and other marketing and research tools is preferred.
  • Proven experience presenting analytics and research findings.
  • Aptitude for working directly with clients, managing expectations, and ensuring project needs are met.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and proactive in problem-solving.

The annual salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375, with placement based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
