This position is located on-site at our Columbus, Ohio office, with a hybrid option available following 60 days of employment.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in network and server management, demonstrating increased technical responsibility
- At least 2 years of help desk experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a collaborative team approach, as this role serves as an escalation point for Tier I and II Technicians
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Proficient in resolving desktop and laptop issues, along with advanced network complications
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server operating systems
- Experience with Hyper-V, VMWare, Microsoft Azure, 365 Admin, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and SQL
- Comfortable engaging with customers, multitasking, and managing various responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or a related field
- CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Microsoft 365 platform certifications
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and implement network infrastructure builds and modifications
- Oversee the planning and execution of migration services for clients
- Configure and deploy firewalls, switches, access points, and associated hardware
- Troubleshoot complex network and server issues
- Manage help desk activities by opening, addressing, and closing help desk tickets
- Respond to incoming support calls and emails
- Provide support for mobile devices, desktops, and laptops
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Server OS, virtualization, and macOS
- Migrate user data as needed

Physical Demands
The individual in this role is regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly. They must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds, and frequently engage in standing, walking, sitting, driving a vehicle, and using hands and fingers for various tasks. Good close and distant vision, the ability to distinguish colors, and ease of focus are essential.
