Job Description
Job Title: Server Assistant | brick + brine
Company: Greenleaf Hospitality Group
Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Pay: $14 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $14 for a Server Assistant role at brick + brine in Kalamazoo, MI, appears to be on the lower end of the compensation spectrum for similar positions in the food service industry. As of 2023, entry-level server assistants or busboys in Michigan typically earn between $12 to $18 per hour, depending on experience and establishment type, with higher-end establishments potentially offering more. Additionally, Kalamazoo’s cost of living is relatively moderate, and this rate may not fully reflect the demands and responsibilities of the role. Therefore, while $14 may be competitive for some entry-level positions, it may not attract experienced candidates or align with industry standards in a quality dining context.
