Job description:

Starting wage: $13.50 per hour

Part-time shifts available: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM, with rotating weekend and holiday schedules.

Summary:
The Dietary Aide is responsible for setting and bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting the cook as needed, and completing cleaning duties.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must establish positive relationships with residents and families and work collaboratively with other staff members.
  • Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, community officials, and the general public are essential.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • Must meet all state health requirements.
  • Obtain a Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare, wash, and store dishes according to facility procedures; clean the dishwashing area and assist in serving as needed.
  • Set up serving carts for meals and assist in serving residents while adhering to facility procedures.
  • Bus tables, prepare dishes for washing, and ensure cleanliness of dining room tables and chairs.
  • Maintain a clean dining area and set tables for future meals, focusing on excellent customer service in food service.
  • Collaborate with the Food Services team to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the kitchen, adhering to safety and sanitation practices.
