We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our vibrant Assisted Living Community. This position offers a starting wage of $13.50 per hour with part-time shifts available from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM, rotating every other weekend and holiday.

Summary:
The Dietary Aide is responsible for setting and bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting the cook as needed, and completing various cleaning duties.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Ability to relate positively to residents and their families, while working collaboratively with other staff.
• Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, community officials, referral sources, and the public.
• Must maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Compliance with all state health requirements.
• Obtain a Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare, wash, and store dishes in accordance with facility procedures. Clean the dishwashing area and assist in food service as needed.
• Set up serving carts for each meal, serve meals to residents, bus tables, and prepare dishes for washing. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables and chairs, and ensure the dining room is swept and clean.
• Focus on delivering excellent customer service in food service operations.
• Work collaboratively with the Food Services team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations, while adhering to prescribed safety and sanitation practices.
