Job Title: Server (Restaurant)

Company: Kewadin Casinos

Location: Manistique, MI

Pay: $9.64 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $9.64 for a Server position in Manistique, MI, is below the competitive standard for the role and does not align well with industry expectations. According to various wage reports and resources such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics, typical server wages in Michigan often range from $11 to $15 per hour, excluding tips, particularly in more populated areas. Furthermore, considering that many servers rely on tipping to supplement their income, the overall compensation can significantly exceed the base pay, especially in busier establishments. Therefore, while the base rate may seem reasonable at first glance, it is likely insufficient to attract and retain skilled staff in the region, especially when factoring in the cost of living and prevailing wage standards.
