Job Title: Server/Wait staff

Company: Homestead

Location: Southfield, MI

Pay: $15 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $15 for a Server/Wait Staff in Southfield, MI, is generally considered on the lower end of the spectrum, as the average wage for similar positions in the area tends to range from $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, establishment type, and tips. While this rate may be competitive for entry-level roles, it may not attract more experienced staff or meet the expectations of those familiar with the industry standard, particularly given the rising cost of living. Additionally, many servers rely on tips to supplement their income, which can significantly impact overall earnings. Therefore, while $15 per hour may suffice for a starting position, it may not be sustainable for retaining talent in a competitive market.
