The Shuttle Driver plays a crucial role in transporting guests to and from hotels, hospitals, casinos, and the local area with friendliness, efficiency, and courtesy, all while adhering to safe driving practices. Responsibilities include assisting guests with luggage during arrivals and departures, as well as maintaining vehicle activity and maintenance logs.

Work Schedule: This position operates Monday through Friday, from 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Summary: The Shuttle Driver is tasked with the safe and courteous transportation of guests while ensuring compliance with organizational protocols and guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Shuttle guests to designated locations as authorized by management, ensuring familiarity with pick-up and drop-off points, property amenities, parking rates, and local attractions—40%
- Communicate courteously and professionally via telephone, two-way radio, and in person, greeting guests within 30 seconds, using their last name when appropriate, and maintaining composure under pressure—20%
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of the vehicle for proper functioning and report any issues to management—20%

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Required Licensure & Certification:
- Must possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement relevant to the state of service.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check, MVR review, and drug screening as determined by client requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years old to comply with vehicle leasing contract stipulations.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and pass annual/semiannual MVR checks.
- Complete Wheelchair Safety Training provided by Towne Park as needed.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate required, along with up-to-date licenses and DOT endorsements, and a biannual physical examination.
Work Experience: A minimum of three years of commercial driving experience or nine years as a licensed driver.
Knowledge: Proficiency in driving manual transmission required.
Skills:
- Strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English.
- Ability to convey information clearly in both one-on-one and small group settings.
- Proficient in basic math operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using American currency.
