Job description:

As a TASK FORCE Special Operations Manager/General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in positioning our hotels for sustainable success through the implementation of a comprehensive transition strategy. This hands-on hospitality management position provides you with full accountability for upholding and enhancing J&P’s esteemed brand standards of excellence.

You will oversee the daily operations of the hotel while leading a team of 6 to 12 employees, ensuring that our rigorous quality and cleanliness standards, as well as our dedication to delivering world-class guest service, are consistently met. You will take complete ownership of the hotel, striving to maintain profitability while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

This role entails significant travel, as you will be required to mobilize to various locations where openings exist, necessitating up to 100% travel.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three to five years of experience as a General Manager in a limited-service hotel.
  • Proficiency in basic accounting procedures and hotel front desk operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, including sales & marketing, security and safety protocols, human resources and labor relations, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hotel law, and long-term planning development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a consistently positive and memorable guest experience.
  • Engage in sales efforts by developing relationships with key accounts, meeting with prospective and current clients, and actively promoting room sales.
  • Conduct comprehensive property inspections to assess and address maintenance and housekeeping needs.
  • Select, orient, train, and manage your team of employees.
  • Manage assigned P&L responsibilities to ensure the sustained profitability of the property.
  • Oversee the completion of all preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Implement payroll and inventory control measures effectively.
  • Guarantee the highest levels of quality and customer service are always delivered.
  • Manage relationships with vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage & Hour, and health legislation.
