Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the assigned account area and oversee all account management responsibilities (Lead to Order) from an after-sales support perspective, including identifying opportunities, executing proposals, negotiating contracts, and cultivating relationships with OEMs, distributors, and dealer representatives.
  • Enhance long-term business relationships by devising and implementing strategies that promote Rolls-Royce Solutions America (RRS-A) growth.
  • Engage with customers, including upper management, to represent RRS-A professionally and effectively resolve conflicts.
  • Collaborate with logistics to ensure that inventory levels support quality sales and after-sales service for RRS-A customers.
  • Partner with the New Engine Sales team on New Vehicle Projects, contributing to specification reviews and pricing for non-standard items (Special Application Quotes) while providing sales guidance on bid strategies.
  • Work with stakeholders to monitor quotes throughout the sales process until delivery.
  • Track and report trends, business conditions, and account status to inform future sales opportunities.
  • Provide accurate data for monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting.
  • Set ambitious yet attainable short- and long-term goals to enhance RRS-A’s market presence within the designated area.
  • Lead new projects to completion.
  • Coordinate efforts with other Service Sales managers, particularly in the Defense sector.
  • Address customer concerns regarding current service product offerings and relay feedback to the product development team on service solutions for the Americas.
  • Stay informed about U.S. government regulations and export control legislation relevant to the defense sector (e.g., Buy America, Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FARS), Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)).
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to customers, management, and staff.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of MTU products, applications, and policies.
  • Foster a culture of compliance within the area of responsibility, adhering to the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
  • Undertake special projects as required.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business, accompanied by 5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, parts/marketing, or management within after sales; or alternatively, 9 years of relevant experience.
