Job description:
The Sr. Technical Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of JLL’s data center operations for the Client account by effectively engaging resources to ensure the smooth operation of the data center portfolio. This position is responsible for leading strategic initiatives and driving operational excellence across the portfolio.
In this role, the incumbent will provide advanced technical leadership and program guidance, translating complex technical requirements into actionable strategies tailored for critical environments. The Senior Technical Delivery Manager will influence operational deliverables, including client service, operational execution, and field management, while ensuring alignment with client objectives and adherence to JLL and Critical Environments Program standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the establishment and implementation of JLL services, programs, and procedures to achieve performance goals and objectives.
- Utilize comprehensive analytics and reporting tools to assess portfolio metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure optimal performance.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives in collaboration with the Account Director to identify potential cost-saving measures within the portfolio.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on technical matters and opportunities for operational improvements.
- Assist process owners and platform leaders in implementing training and educational programs to guarantee compliance with company processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to closeout and commissioning requirements, including the collection and archiving of essential critical documents.
- Ensure that archives of drawings, schematics, equipment operations manuals, warranty documents, and other critical information are maintained appropriately.
- Verify that all properties are operated, maintained, and tested in compliance with local, state, and national regulations, alongside Client Corporation Account requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years of operational experience in a data center environment.
- Proven leadership skills in managing teams and engaging with customers.
- Exceptional oral and written communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong planning skills, capable of developing creative alternative approaches.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate factors influencing situations and to recommend and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent organizational capabilities to optimize resource allocation for maximum productivity.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Fundamental knowledge of critical systems, including emergency/standby generators, ATS, UPS systems, and power distribution systems.
- Proficient in Building Management Systems, Life Safety Systems, CMMS, Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems within commercial facilities, particularly in critical data center operations.
- A consistent track record of delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
