ALL ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE
The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent experience for our guests by maintaining fresh, in-stock products that are accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. This proficient team specializes in operations, processes, and efficiency, leading all aspects of food service, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, marketing, and promotional signage for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.

As a Starbucks Barista, your daily responsibilities will typically include:

• Delivering an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests to provide quality handcrafted beverages and food while prioritizing their needs
• Upholding the Food and Beverage Standards, alongside Starbucks’ brand and food safety standards
• Executing food and beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, data accuracy, cleaning, and backstock management
• Maintaining awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks
• Supporting the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of digital guest orders
• Keeping the dining area inviting for guests at all times
• Engaging with guests to exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
• Producing items to specification and adhering to departmental routines
• Monitoring temperature-sensitive food items according to best practices
• Completing cleaning tasks as outlined in best practices
• Adhering to proper packaging and labeling protocols for food products
• Identifying and processing damaged, recalled, or expired items as per best practices
• Ensuring accurate inventory through store-initiated orders and perishable inventory procedures
• Executing sampling best practices
