Job description:

This position plays a critical role in the success of our retail operations. Store associates collaborate closely with both wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, address inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. They are also responsible for promptly resolving customer concerns and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Associates must stay informed about product features while upholding the quality and visual standards of the store. Achieving excellent customer service is a priority, alongside consistently meeting the store’s sales objectives.

The selected candidate will work at Store #1970, located at 8170 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45255, on a part-time basis at a rate of $14.50 per hour. This position involves direct contact with customers, which may include minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuables, which may be supervised or unsupervised. Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through high-quality sales service.
• Assist customers in-person and over the phone by identifying their needs and presenting relevant products and services.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain organized work order files and product formulas.
• Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products as required to meet customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and arrange displays.
• Clean store equipment and maintain the store’s appearance.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Assist with deliveries as necessary.
• Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for work visa status now or in the future.
• Must be capable of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• High School diploma or GED.
• At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Previous experience selling paint and related products.
• Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in multiple languages, including Spanish.
