Immediately hiring for a Part-Time Store Sales Associate in Miamisburg, OH (Lyons Rd).
Starting Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.50 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in counter sales, assist with warehouse duties, and manage deliveries.
- This role involves heavy lifting, requires a valid driver’s license, and necessitates regular interaction with customers.
As a Store Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in fostering customer loyalty among both retail and contractor clients. Your welcoming demeanor, combined with exceptional customer service, will ensure customers return to our store. You will assist with all paint-related inquiries, including order placements, product selections, color matching, and recommending supplementary products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assess the needs of wholesale and retail customers, offering tailored solutions.
- Mix, tint, and match paint according to customer specifications.
- Safely move, load, and unload products for stocking, delivery, and order processing.
- Maintain the store’s cleanliness and ensure it is well-stocked with paint and other merchandise.
- Process orders and payment requests received in-person, via phone, online, or email.
- Utilize the POS system for payment processing and customer transactions.
- Potentially make local deliveries using a company vehicle, following appropriate training.
- Report directly to the Store Manager.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence, free of restrictions, with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds regularly, alongside the capacity to stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on teamwork and a stable employment history.
- Available to work flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and potential overtime.
