Primary Responsibilities:
– Deliver swim instruction according to the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
– Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
– Assess students’ progress and complete necessary documentation promptly.
– Engage with parents/guardians regarding students’ swim skill development.
– Serve as a GSS “ambassador” to ensure parental satisfaction.
– Utilize problem-solving and creative thinking skills to address challenges faced by students.
– Inspect pool areas before and after each class for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage, reporting any issues to management as needed.
– Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment, including placement and removal of lane lines.
– Document and report accidents and incidents to management, ensuring completion of required paperwork.
– Occasionally perform light cleaning duties, such as window washing, deck mopping, and trash removal.
– Attend required workshops and in-service training outside of regular working hours.
