Role Summary:
The Team Member is tasked with enhancing the member experience by delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests while providing outstanding customer service.
- Manage all front desk operations, including:
- Answering phone calls in a friendly manner, checking in members, processing new member sign-ups, and conducting tours for prospective members.
- Facilitating necessary updates to members’ accounts.
- Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, while escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
- Assisting with the cleanliness and organization of the club.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A background in customer service is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in computer skills.
- A strong passion for fitness and health.
- An upbeat and positive demeanor.
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Strong listening skills with the capacity to empathize and resolve issues effectively.
