Role Summary:
The Team Member will be tasked with fostering a positive member experience through exemplary customer service for Planet Fitness members, potential members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome members, prospective members, and guests, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Manage all front desk activities, which include:
    • Answering phone calls in a friendly manner, checking members in, facilitating new member sign-ups, and conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Assisting with necessary updates to member accounts.
    • Addressing member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as required.
    • Contributing to the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with computers.
  • A genuine passion for fitness and overall health.
  • An upbeat, positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Strong listening skills, with the capacity to empathize and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ability to demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
