Role Summary:
The Team Member will be tasked with fostering a positive member experience through exemplary customer service for Planet Fitness members, potential members, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome members, prospective members, and guests, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Manage all front desk activities, which include:
- Answering phone calls in a friendly manner, checking members in, facilitating new member sign-ups, and conducting tours for prospective members.
- Assisting with necessary updates to member accounts.
- Addressing member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as required.
- Contributing to the cleanliness and organization of the club.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
- Basic proficiency with computers.
- A genuine passion for fitness and overall health.
- An upbeat, positive attitude.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Strong listening skills, with the capacity to empathize and resolve issues effectively.
- Ability to demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
