Role Summary

The Team Member is responsible for delivering an outstanding member experience by providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
  • Perform front desk functions, including:
    • Answering phone inquiries in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various questions.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Signing up new members.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Facilitating necessary updates to member accounts.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • A passion for fitness and health is essential.
  • Must demonstrate an upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and colleagues.
  • Strong listening skills, with the capability to empathize and solve problems effectively.

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
