Role Summary
The Team Member is responsible for delivering an outstanding member experience by providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Warmly greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
- Perform front desk functions, including:
- Answering phone inquiries in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various questions.
- Checking members into the system.
- Signing up new members.
- Conducting tours for prospective members.
- Facilitating necessary updates to member accounts.
- Addressing member questions and concerns promptly, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
- Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- A passion for fitness and health is essential.
- Must demonstrate an upbeat and positive attitude.
- Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and colleagues.
- Strong listening skills, with the capability to empathize and solve problems effectively.
