SUMMARY
The Repair Technician is responsible for conducting basic inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical services for automobiles and light trucks, ensuring exemplary customer service and compliance with safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operates tire balancing and mounting equipment, performs flat repairs, executes tire rotations, and conducts diagnostic assessments to evaluate tire wear and vibrations.
• Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of tire lines to manage inventory, follow tire procedures, and handle shipping and receiving.
• Conducts various inspections, including under-hood, under-car, and wheel-off assessments.
• Executes basic removal and replacement tasks, such as installing batteries and filters, and replacing wiper blades, headlamps, and small bulbs.
• Performs alignments and flushes for cooling systems, power steering, and transmissions using appropriate equipment.
• Conducts basic diagnostics to identify and troubleshoot noise or vibration issues after road testing.
• Supports facility maintenance by adhering to proper opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and performing other general maintenance duties.

EQUIPMENT/TOOLS
Safely operates various equipment essential for the Tire & Alignment Technician role, including tire machines, balancers, lube equipment, flat repair tools, lifts, impact guns, torque wrenches, tread depth gauges, grinders/wire wheels, micrometers, flush machines, torches, and alignment racks.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum training required includes:

• Basic automotive services

LANGUAGE SKILLS
