Traveling Occupational Health Specialist

HCI is a leading national provider of occupational health services, dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of our clients and their employees while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. Our core services include audiometric and respiratory screening, delivered through our team of field technicians and a fleet of mobile units.
We seek a candidate with exceptional organizational, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. The ideal applicant will be adept at prioritizing tasks, demonstrating initiative, and working independently with minimal supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside outstanding customer service capabilities, are essential for achieving high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
– Comprehensive training will be provided to equip the selected candidate with the necessary knowledge and skills to proficiently execute our audiometric screening process as a mobile field technician, along with additional services such as respiratory fit testing, vision assessments, and other diagnostic evaluations.
– Conduct audiometric screening services for client employees across various industrial environments of differing sizes.
– Facilitate hearing conservation training for client employees, delivered from a prepared script within a specified timeframe, typically lasting 10 minutes.
– This role is headquartered in Rockford, IL, and requires 100% national travel using a company-provided vehicle.
– Flexibility to accommodate diverse daily testing schedules, including late sessions followed by early morning shifts, straight day sessions, and night sessions.
– Maintain a professional demeanor and exemplary customer service skills.
– Communicate effectively with clients, explaining test processes clearly.
– Ensure accurate documentation of services rendered.
– Possess technical proficiency in computers, internet, email, and related technologies.
– Able to lift weight ranges of 35-60 lbs.
– Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
