Role of Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health:
Warehouse Operations is integral to Cardinal Health, overseeing a combination of manual and automated tasks essential for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. Responsibilities include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storing, and delivering products, ensuring an efficient flow from vendors to both internal and external customers.

About the Consumer Health Logistics Center:
The Consumer Health Logistics Center (CHLC) will be Cardinal Health’s latest Pharmaceutical Supply Chain facility located in Groveport, Ohio. Spanning approximately 350,000 square feet, this center will feature cutting-edge automation technology. Learn more about this facility on our website.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to established processes to fulfill orders, which includes accurately picking products, conducting quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
  • Engage in cross-training across various warehouse functions and participate in projects as required.
  • Conduct housekeeping and inventory control tasks while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to train for and obtain certification to operate material handling equipment as necessary. Examples of equipment include order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfort working at heights of 20-30 feet on a regular basis
  • Capacity to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with technology, such as computers or point-of-sale systems, is advantageous
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Basic proficiency in English is required, including the ability to read and write in English to process documentation.
