ABOUT THE JOB

In this role, you will operate, handle, and maintain equipment safely while achieving production and quality standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Acquire in-depth knowledge of equipment and process operations; handle, transfer, ship, receive, and store chemical materials.
– Efficiently pick orders and load and unload trucks.
– Participate in the inventory process.
– Communicate compliance, safety, and equipment needs as identified.
– Accurately complete required documentation, including shipping and receiving paperwork, inventory sheets, and inspection reports.
– Perform routine minor maintenance on process equipment and instrumentation.
– Uphold product quality and safety standards, and report any incidents to the Supervisor, Manager, or designated backup, especially in positions subjected to specific plant or company certifications.
– Operate independently while strictly adhering to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
– Comply with all applicable Federal, State, and corporate environmental, safety, and health regulations.
– Maintain housekeeping standards.
– Undertake additional related duties as needed.

ABOUT YOU

– High school diploma or equivalent is required.
– A minimum of 6 months of experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent experience is preferred.
– Certification and ability to safely operate an industrial forklift are essential.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
– Proficiency in understanding and conveying complex and/or technical operations and procedures, both written and verbal, is important.
– Compliance with mandatory Environmental, Health, and Safety training is required; participation as a member of the Emergency Response Team, including Level A PPE, may be expected (excludes Minneapolis and New York locations).
– Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office are preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

– Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
– Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, reaching, and pulling.
– Capability to work at heights using stairs and ladders.
– Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety gear such as safety shoes, face shields, safety glasses, safety goggles, hearing protection, gloves, and hard hats; chemical suits and hair/beard nets as required.
– Proficient operation of an industrial forklift is necessary.
– Willingness to comply with grooming standards necessary for safety equipment use and SQF-certified environments.
– Capability to work in varying environmental conditions, including hot, cold, noisy, dusty, and wet settings.
– Willingness to work in proximity to chemicals and industrial machinery.

No travel is required.

Expected Compensation: $20.00/hr. + 5% Bonus Eligibility.
