Job description:

The Member Services Representative is responsible for fostering a positive experience for members by delivering an exceptional level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet members, prospective members, and guests, consistently providing outstanding customer service.
  • Manage front desk operations, including:
    • Answering phone inquiries in a friendly manner and assisting callers with a range of questions.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Updating members’ account information as needed.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as necessary.
    • Performing cleaning duties to uphold the cleanliness and tidiness of the facility.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding member expectations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/AED Certification within the timeframes established by the company and retain the physical capability to perform CPR/AED in the event of a medical emergency.
  • Required to secure Tanning Certification within the designated time frame established by the company.

  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
