We provide the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to assist you while you care for our vulnerable seniors and adults with disabilities.

We are seeking caregivers to support seniors and individuals with disabilities with daily living activities, either in their homes or care facilities in Grand Rapids, MI. Ideal candidates will be available for two or more shifts per week, with a particular emphasis on weekend availability, especially from 7 PM to 7 AM. Shift options include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and overnights.

  • You’re comfortable with hands-on tasks, which may include assistance with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry, and other household duties.
  • While you need not be a gourmet chef, you should be able to prepare nutritious meals and navigate a kitchen efficiently.
  • You will assist clients in various ways, including medication reminders, support with prescribed range of motion exercises, dementia care, and engaging companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.

Must Haves:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English as required for the role
  • A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to meet requirements for direct patient care positions
  • Capacity to pass a full employment background check
  • Completion of a competency evaluation that meets state licensing laws for home health agencies
  • Recommended current CPR certification
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Home Health Aide in a healthcare setting and successful completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course
