Job Summary
This position requires open availability on both weekend days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
– Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.
– Manage all front desk activities, including but not limited to:
– Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and providing assistance with a diverse range of inquiries.
– Checking IDs and member barcodes into the system.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups.
– Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
– Implementing necessary updates to members’ accounts.
– Addressing member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Assistant Club Manager as necessary.
– Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.
– Monitoring safety and cleanliness within the club environment.
– Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
– Restocking locker rooms with appropriate supplies and paper products.
– Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (e.g., toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment) to the Club Manager.
– Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” and promptly submitting lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements
– Previous customer service experience is preferred.
– Basic proficiency in computer skills.
– A genuine passion for fitness and health.
– An upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
– Punctuality and reliability are essential.
– Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and positively with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding member expectations.
– Strong listening skills and a capability to empathize and resolve issues.
– Demonstrated diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
– A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
– Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Demands
– Continuous standing and walking are required throughout the shift.

– The ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs is necessary.

– Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and frequently used surfaces within the club.
