We invite you to be a part of our growth! We are currently seeking Machine Operators (Robotic Weld and Assembly) for our 2nd shift at our facility in Paulding, OH, from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Compensation begins at $19.80 to $21.30 per hour, commensurate with experience, and our 2nd shift includes a shift premium of 7.5%. Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance after 30 days of employment. Additionally, we provide a robust 401(k) plan, paid holidays, and vacation. Tuition assistance becomes available to employees after one year of service.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in assembly or machine operation roles.

Personal/Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in suggesting improvement methods (e.g., Continuous Improvement Plan).
  • Willingness to undergo training as needed.
  • Capability to adhere to a schedule that facilitates daily job completion.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
  • Capacity to comprehend and follow written work instructions.
  • Availability for overtime as required.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Operate machinery, including robotic welders and assembly stations.
  • Set up and/or change tooling as necessary.
  • Conduct “break tests” at specified intervals, maintaining logs and making adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure all safety measures, such as guards and curtains, remain in place during operation.
  • Perform final visual inspections of all parts exiting the welding area for quality assurance.
  • Complete all reports accurately and in their entirety.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization around equipment.
  • Report any issues related to quality, production, or safety to the production manager.
  • Keep all tools stored in their designated locations.
  • Operate forklifts as required.
  • Implement re-work instructions as directed.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance as instructed.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds frequently.
  • Capacity to stand for at least 8 hours per day.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening is mandatory.
