Compensation:
This position is hourly, with an anticipated base pay range of $20 to $24 per hour.

Position Details:
As a Branch Sales Associate (part-time, approximately 20+ hours per week, 1st shift, Monday to Friday), you will deliver exceptional service by establishing connections with walk-in customers, utilizing your expertise and a positive attitude. Your role will focus on maximizing sales opportunities, fostering customer loyalty, and surpassing customer expectations. Throughout your shift, you will balance customer assistance with various warehouse responsibilities, reporting directly to the Store Manager.

You Will:
– Oversee the complete customer experience, including appropriate product selection, accurate order entry, safe picking of products, and secure loading of customer vehicles.
– Identify opportunities to enhance sales and promote customer loyalty.
– Adjust communication styles to suit different audiences, whether in person, via email, or over the phone.
– Prepare and stage will-call orders as well as ship products.
– Manage customer backorders and organize received stock.
– Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
– Conduct inventory counts.
– Become proficient in navigating various computer systems for both customer-facing and warehouse tasks.
– Maintain branch cleanliness to meet Grainger’s standards.
– Adhere to safety protocols and comply with all operational standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.

You Have:
– Availability to work flexible hours within branch operating times.
– The ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
– Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
